Members of the Center for Economics, Energy and Public Policy, Hana Černá Silovská and Josef Klement, have been awarded a new international project funded by the Visegrad Fund. The project addresses current economic and institutional challenges in Central Europe and brings together researchers and experts from all V4 countries.

The aim of the project is to develop and pilot-test a tool for mapping the attitudes and needs of local governments in the V4 countries, with the goal of strengthening their role in fiscal policy and regional development within the framework of multi-level governance.

The University of Economics, Prague, is partnering with the Cracow University of Economics, and the project will be implemented in 2025–2026.
